If citizens of worldly kingdoms are quick to say what they believe, shouldn’t citizens of the Kingdom of God do that all the more? Jesus calls us confess his name confidently. Since God boldly revealed the truth of salvation in his Son, we too must confess that truth for our own good and for the benefit of others. And since our citizenship is eternal, we have nothing to fear. The truth of Jesus is indestructible, a rock-solid foundation forever.
