No matter where we turn for rest in this life, it’s always temporary. The trials and challenges of life soon leave us tired and weary. And who or what can give rest to the body, mind, and the soul? Jesus promises rest that doesn’t go away. He not only carries our greatest burdens, but also invites us to find immediate rest in our present struggles. In him, and only in him, do we have true and eternal rest.
