In the Kingdom of God, our Savior exerts his power in a way similar to the power of a seed. What seems to be small and lifeless actually contains life and compounding abundance. So too, God grows his kingdom not with force, wealth, or worldly wisdom. Instead, his Word is the seed. When scattered it is met with all kinds of reactions. But regardless of the reactions, his Word has power to affect eternal life and to share all God’s gifts.
