There is no end to the search for meaning in this world. What is more, the world has already passed its verdict on Jesus and those who belong to him. Remember, this world and it’s “understanding” is responsible for putting Jesus to death. And so we know where true meaning is found. It’s not found in a world with empty answers to deep questions. Real, lasting meaning is found in the one who triumphed by leaving his tomb and this world empty where they stand. In Jesus, God has made reality plain and simple. We have life with the Father, joy in following his commands, and meaning for this life as well as the life to come.
