On Easter Day, we celebrate Jesus’ resurrection. No one would have expected eternal blessings to start in place where life ceases – a tomb. And yet, that’s what Jesus’ resurrection has done. By rising from the dead, he broke death’s power once and for all. His empty tomb is the beginning of eternal realities for us that will never end.
